On April 18, 2021, the tutorial for building and compiling the OPENWIFI environment was updated. This tutorial features:

Introduction to hardware configuration
1. ZYNQ chip XC7Z045 - FFG 900 or XC7Z100 - FFG 900 is optional
2. Four pieces of DDR3 memory form an 8GBIT (1GBYTE) running memory, which is connected to the PS side and the PL side can be accessed through the HP interface

4. HDMI video output interface supports 2K high-definition for ADV7511 using chip, which can be used as LINUX display of graphical interface to provide LINUX system
5. Two USB to UART interfaces are connected to PS and PL respectively PS can be used as the running program of the processor system for dialogue, and PL can be programmed by the user to interact
6. On board download cable. All functions of the download cable can be realized by connecting the USB cable. Processor debugging, logic downloading and FLASH writing can be realized
7. USB OTG interface can realize external mouse, keyboard or USB flash disk
8. The FLASH chip of the two channel QUARD SPI interface works in the 8-channel parallel expansion mode, expanding the FLASH storage capacity to 32MB and improving the loading speed of PS
9. SD card is supported. Up to 32G SD card can be used as boot disk or data disk
10. The onboard 16G EMMC chip is connected to the PS part through EMIO and used as a high-capacity high-speed data disk or file disk
11. 3-way LPC standard FMC interface can be connected to FMC board for various expansion tests. Each group can connect 34 pairs of differential or 68 bit single ended IOs
12. Four sets of PMOD interfaces, each with eight 3.3V IO ports
13. RTC clock chip, IIC memory chip and other peripherals The PL part and PS part are respectively connected to 1KB EEPROM

You can also use an external JTAG download cable, which is just connected to the JTAG interface of the 6PIN XILINX standard on the board. To use an external download cable, you need to unplug the USB port J2 of the onboard download module
2. Is FMC LPC or HPC
Answer: All three FMC ports are LPC standard
3. Advantages and disadvantages of 7Z045 and 7Z100 chip versions
A: The 7Z045 has better compatibility with the official board ZC706, such as:
A. Run the LINUX image downloaded from the official website directly, or compile the LINUX source code without modification
B. In the VIVADO environment, directly select the ZC706 board, and directly use the PS configuration and DDR3 configuration of the ZC706
C. MATLAB has a toolbox for connecting ZC706, which is directly available
D. ADI also has LINUX based on ZC706, which is also used directly
The advantage of using the 7Z100 is that there are many PL resources, and PS resources are the same as the 7Z045. It is suitable for users who are familiar with the ZYNQ system.
